If the weather does not allow you to go out to sea, it is preferable to postpone the booking and to agree on a new date with the boat owner. For daily rentals, you have the possibility to subscribe to our Weather Guarantee in order to be fully reimbursed in case of bad weather (special weather report, storm, etc...).
Fuel is not included in the rental price. Please contact the owner if you would like an estimate of the fuel cost of booking this boat.
You must have a boat licence to drive this boat. The paper document may be requested by the owner on the day of booking, so do not hesitate to confirm with the owner the type of licence required for this specific rental (coastal, river, etc...). Please note that it is possible to book the boat without being the skipper yourself at the time of charter.
All boats available on SeaVenture-Charters.com are insured. If the boat is damaged upon return, the boat's insurance will cover up to a certain amount, and the rest will be taken out of your deposit. Please note that most incidents are settled out of court with the boat owner. You can add additional insurance (excess, assistance, etc.) directly on SeaVenture-Charters.com when you make your reservation.
Before accepting a booking request, the owner may carry out a check of the hirer's nautical CV to ensure that they are experienced enough to hire the boat. The owner can also adapt their check-in to the port (training, help leaving the port) according to the nautical skills of the renter. Do not hesitate to discuss this with the owner via the message board.
